During gameplay you can save by reaching checkpoints consisting of television sets. ![]() The virtual world depicts fine enough the phyisical world for a 2000 game from the graphical quality point of view that somewhat brings back old memories about games like Blood 2 or the old GTA 3. ![]() The game is about a televised reality game show where Dave (that sometimes becomes Deva), accompanied by a camera man and a spycam, passes different levels shooting spontaneusly spawned zombies. ![]() The Devil Inside is a survival horror third person shooter released by Cryo Interactive in 2000. It just feels silly at times, a bit too shallow and too caught in its own web of gameplay mechanics, instead go and play another third person game, this time a really well done one, the Silent Hill series will offer a deeper, more psychologically satisfying experience. What I mean by these is, of course, bullets and weapons, though a lot of the game will ask you to go in melee style, The game also seems to have a twisted sense of humor outside the tongue in cheek Big Brother theme, and so, The Devil Inside is a cool pastiche and a humorous, darkly humorous game, too bad though it's not really that polished or that well rounded. ![]() At any rate, what the game feels most like is your regular third person action, with a good deal of bashing, running away from monsters, and trying to scour for the necessary consumables to survive. The twist of The Devil Inside is that your misadventures are televised! Yes, the future world of this game is a really twisted one, but, well, we kind of knew we were heading in that direction for a while. Big Brother themed survival horror third person ![]()
